This project lies on the outskirts of the village centre of Flums, in the Schulstrasse. The landscape is shaped by the Primary School buildings and the adjoining school grounds, as well as the single family homes surrounded by trees and green zones.

This project fits in well with the single family resident housing. The buildings complement each other very well. The new buildings have big glass fronts giving the senior residents a feeling of integration and belonging. They are part of the village centre and it’s activities.

A passageway in the centre connects the cubes to one another. This way the single cubes flow into a bigger area, giving the senior residence the possiblity of meeting each other in various recreation rooms.
